COMIC BOOK COVER DESIGN

Students will learn how to design covers for comics of different sizes, variety of genres, and art styles. The class will include a lesson in colour theory and font. Students will leave the class with an understanding of cover design and some colour theory, as well as a gutter layout for the project which can be reused.

 

Suggested Materials List:

  • 8.5”x11” cardstock

  • Pencil

  • Blue pencil

  • Fine-point marker

  • Medium-point marker

  • White eraser

  • Ruler
