3D ART & SCULPTURE

REALIST PAINTING

In this popular class you'll work alongside high-realist painter Ian Bodnaryk, and explore the versatile and exciting world of acrylics. Experiment with painting techniques and principles, including basic colour and composition theory, working primarily from your own photographs and other simple source imagery. Suitable for students of all skill levels, repeat-friendly. *Some materials required. A material list will be sent prior to the start of classes.

In this class, you'll learn the basics of wedging, centering, opening and throwing a ball of clay into a cylinder form. As you begin to master the cylinder form on the wheel, you'll transform that basic shape into mugs, vases and dishes, and glaze the pieces using basic techniques. Our expert artist instructor, Jasmine Moncalvo, will provide personalized guidance, feedback and suggestions in this small sized class. *The last class will run for 3 hours to accommodate for glazing. Suitable for students of all experience levels, and repeat-friendly. *All materials included in cost.
