Hi y’all
We’re pleased to announce the artist-members’ listing accepted in this year’s juried exhibition!
This year’s jurors, Kelly McCray, Steven Schwartz and Shelagh Stewart had the challenging task of selecting from a record number of works. With over 150 submissions, their challenge was to select works that make a strong statement in connection to this year’s theme and work together in a relevant, cohesive way.
We welcome everyone to attend this year’s opening reception and awards ceremony on Thursday, December 8, beginning at 7 pm. Parking spaces at the gallery will be limited on that evening, however additional parking is available at Iroquois Park or the Whitby GO Station—all in walking distance to the gallery.
The submissions will be on view at the gallery from December 3, 2016 – January 29, 2017.
We hope you’ll be able to attend our official opening reception on the second Thursday evening of December. If not, we hope to see you at the gallery soon where you’re always welcome and don’t forget to vote for the People’s Choice Award…
Once again, our congratulations and thanks go out to all members who submitted a piece in what promises to be a very fine exhibition—perhaps the best ever!
