VICTORIA_NEW.jpg

Artist Instructor: Victoria Wallace

Date(s): April 27, 2021 to June 1, 2021

Time(s): 7pm to 9pm

Cost: $55 (For SG Members) $60 (For non-members)

Ages: 16 and up

Learn to draw a variety of facial and key anatomical features with seasoned artist Victoria Wallace. Broaden your artistic range by learning to draw many features which artists traditionally struggle with, such as hands, feet, ears, eyes, and more. *Students supply their own materials. *A suggested supply list is given by the instructor prior to the first class.

MATERIALS LIST

  • Pad of good quality drawing paper, White or off white, 9” x 12” or 11” x 14” (whichever you prefer)

  • Graphite pencils HB, 2B, 4B sizes recommended, Graphite (black). Woodless pencils  are acceptable OR A technical mechanical pencil. These are the pencils with replaceable leads, often used by draughtsmen. *l recommend size 780 not the thinner smaller ones.

  • Eraser – I like to use the erasers that come in a pen format with replaceable erasers. Any art supply store will have these. Regular erasers are ok, too.

  • Pencil sharpener – get one that fits the graphite pencil you are using

  • A glove with the fingers cut off. You will wear this glove to  hold your graphite pencil and avoid smudging your work with the natural oils from your hand. Thin material is best.

  • Old clean paint brush to brush off eraser rinds

  • Printed image of the drawing we will be working on
