Michael was born in Barrie and lived in Hamilton, Ottawa and Brantford before coming to Whitby in 1962. He was a media-visual arts consultant for Dressbo and retired in 1992. Michael is a member of both Oshawa and Ajax arts clubs as well as a member of Pine Ridge Arts Council. He teaches art at seniors’ centres and at home to mainly high school students and adults. His areas of expertise include drawing, animation, and watercolour.
