New! Art – Past and Present

Inform your art practice through this lecture series where you’ll explore key art movements throughout history, including a focus on women and Indigenous artists. You’ll discover prominent art and architecture, and its significance to the art history canon. Special highlights include Canadian artists, Station Gallery current exhibitions and permanent collection. Bring your sketchbook and drawing supplies to capture big ideas and iconic design elements to inspire your artistic development and knowledge. This course is particularly beneficial for those pursuing post-secondary studies.

One of the classes will involve a day trip to Toronto to explore an exhibit. *Participants cover the cost of GO train and entrance fee. *Sketchbook and drawing supplies required. 13+ years.
