Station Gallery, in partnership with Durham District School Board, is supporting local teachers and students with an innovative new pilot program designed to bring dynamic art programming virtually to students.
Bringing Art to Elementary Students
We encourage teachers of students in Grades 1 through 8 to utilize the pre-recorded curriculum-based workshops that we have developed based on the Ontario Elementary School Curriculum.
A list of curriculum connections will be provided along with each workshop and will be visible prior to booking so that teachers can choose the workshop that is best for their class.
Each virtual lesson includes:
-
A 45-minute Art Lesson with Station Gallery Artist Instructor Rola Jaber

Ice Cream Dream
Grades 1 - 3

Up Up and Away
Grade 1 - 3

Hot Air Balloon
Grades 4 - 6

Hoot Owl-Owl Zentangle
Grades 4 - 6

Shadow Box
Grades 7 - 8
We want to hear from you
If you’re a teacher who has used these classes to supplement your curriculum, we want to hear from you! Please let us know what you think about the pilot program.
